Our #1 Flavour for 2021

With over 70 flavours to choose from, picking a favourite can seem almost impossible! We came up with the idea to do a Central Smith March Madness to find out what your favourite flavour is! We lined up our top 64 flavours to battle it out, with one flavour to reign supreme…

We had four categories: Fruity Flavours, Kids Corner, Ice Cold Classics, and our Signature Scoops

1) Fruity Flavours

Our Fruity Flavours category consisted of our fruity ice creams. Fruity ice cream is very popular for a refreshing scoop every time!

2) Kids Corner

Our Kids Corner category consisted of our kids lineup, including all the favourites for scooping! Just because they’re considered “Kids Flavours” doesn’t mean the big kids can’t enjoy too!

3) Ice Cold Classics

Our Ice Cold Classics category consisted of our standard flavours; Chocolate, Vanilla, and Butterscotch, as well as our frozen dessert and yogurt lineup. You can’t beat the classics!

4) Signature Scoops

Our Signature Scoops category consisted of our signature flavours. The flavours we make better than anyone else and the flavours you can only get at Central Smith! This is an all-star lineup!

We followed the standard March Madness setup, posting on our Instagram and Facebook stories and letting our fans make the final decision. There were dramatic upsets and Cinderella stories. In the end, there could only be one.

The Final Four was a shock to our team! Black Raspberry Cheesecake, Monster Cookie, French Vanilla, and Algonquin Canoe. Black Raspberry Cheesecake is a fruity favourite around here. Monster Cookie is one of our newest flavours! French Vanilla is actually our top selling flavour. Algonquin Canoe, our signature flavour, only available at Central Smith.

Eventually, we were down to the finals: Monster Cookie vs. Algonquin Canoe. Our newest flavour vs. one of our tried-and-true favourites. How do you compare the cookie-dough-Oreo magic of Monster Cookie to the trifecta chocolate, maple, caramel goodness of Algonquin Canoe? This one was close!

With only 7 votes separating the finals, we had our winner.

Our Central Smith March Madness winner is…

Algonquin Canoe!

Algonquin Canoe was our Canada 150 feature flavour! It’s a French Vanilla ice cream with a hint of maple, chocolate ripple and caramel filled canoes! It’s unique to Central Smith. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’ll have to pick up a tub!
