At Central Smith, we’re a proudly Canadian company, based just outside Peterborough, Ontario. What started in 1896 as a small farmer’s co-op has grown into a national ice cream maker, shared in parlours and communities from coast to coast.
We will always call Ontario home, and every scoop is made here with care, tradition, and pride. While our roots are local, our ice cream travels across Canada, bringing a little joy to families everywhere.

Sullivan’s General Store
Nestled in the heart of Ennismore, Sullivan’s General Store is a true local landmark that’s been serving its community for generations. Family-owned and full of character, it’s a place where everyday essentials meet warm greetings and a well-loved scoop of ice cream.
It continues to be a natural gathering place for both residents and visitors, rooted in nostalgia and tradition that keeps people coming back year after year.
Reclaimed Garden Co.
Burleigh Falls is home to the unique roadside stop, Reclaimed Garden Co., which blends gardening, creativity, and the charm of the Kawarthas. Visitors can wander through beautifully curated plants, seasonal décor, and a thoughtful selection of handmade goods from local artisans and makers.
The property is also home to an ice cream shack; a dream brought to life by owner, Jackie. Here, guests can enjoy a scoop while taking in the relaxed atmosphere and scenic views along the Trent-Severn Waterway.
Nannyberry’s
Peterborough’s Nannyberry’s is a bright and welcoming café and scoop shop, proudly serving a wide selection of Central Smith ice cream flavours alongside baked goods and sweet treats from local bakers.
The shop also features take-home options like ice cream cakes and tubs, making it easy to bring a favourite treat home for any occasion!
