St. Patrick’s Day Recipe: Irish Affogato
They say the whole world is Irish on the Seventeenth o’ March! St. Patrick’s Day is coming up quickly and no one knows how to celebrate quite like the Irish do! A perfect drink to celebrate St. Paddy’s inside is an Irish twist on Affogato.
This drink can be how you start your day or end your day – depending how you like to spend your St. Paddy’s. It’s an Irish twist on an Italian classic.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 scoops of Central Smith French Vanilla ice cream
- 1/3 cup of your favourite brewed coffee
- 1 oz. Irish Whisky (19+ only!)
PREPARATION
- Add 2 scoops of Central Smith French Vanilla ice cream to your glass or mug.
- Pour your brewed coffee over the ice cream while still hot.
- Add 1 shot of Irish Whisky over your ice cream and coffee and serve immediately.
